The TJG Philosophy...
Building a new home is a major financial investment. There are two ways to approach the construction expenses the client will incur –
by building a “contract” home or by building a “cost-plus” home. The difference? The cost of a custom “cost-plus” home is broken down
for the client and the client has more input throughout the building process, where the cost of building a “contract” home is set
and does not allow for any budget changes or flexibility. The Tab Jackson Group builds homes on a cost-plus basis.
THE “COST" IN COST-PLUS BUILDING
They’ll create a budget for items or special features desired. But likes and dislikes may change through the building process, and
with cost-plus building, the client will be aware of any additional costs at the time of the change. No surprises or hidden expenses
at the end of the project! The client has much more input and will be involved every step of the way. All the decisions, all the choices.
The end result is a customized home built to the client’s specifications.
The “Plus” is the Contractor’s agreed upon percentage for Overhead and Profit. The Tab Jackson Group charges that
percentage of the total construction cost. The O & P is included in the budget and paid weekly throughout the project. 
From the unveiling of the Blueprints to the Certificate of Occupancy,
the Tab Jackson Group watches over each unique construction.
